Women's Mental Health
Mood disorders are more prevalent in women compared to men, particularly during the childbearing years. However, women sometimes don’t get treatment even though symptoms can be problematic and even debilitating. Pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, and transition to parenthood can be challenging, sometimes triggering mental health concerns. Also, issues of mid-life and the menopausal transition can be stressful. I specialize in women’s mental health psychotherapy and strive to support women through life’s important transitions.
