I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the State of California (PSY11052). I received my undergraduate education at the University of Michigan and completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center and postdoctoral residency at Ross General Hospital.
From June 2004 to March 2017, I was the Chief Psychologist and Director of Psychology Training at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. As a leader in psychology, I have trained and supervised hundreds of doctoral level graduate students learning to do psychotherapy. Since 1988, I have combined hospital employment with private practice in San Francisco.
