Sharon Tyson, Ph.D.
Welcome!
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience providing psychotherapy and consultation. My practice aims to help clients get symptom relief, enhance quality of life, and promote improved functioning at work, school, and in important relationships. If you are experiencing a long-standing problem or facing a recent stressful situation, psychotherapy can be helpful for a variety of concerns.
I have experience working with a broad range of psychological issues and age groups, however, I have particular interest and experience doing therapy with:
Adolescents and their families (ages 12-18)
Adults with depression, anxiety and relational issues
Couples
College students
Women at transition points in their lives (emerging adulthood, being a new mother, divorce, death of one’s own parents, mid-life issues, and menopause).
Individuals coping with a recent medical diagnosis or chronic illness
If you are experiencing depression, low self esteem, work or school problems, anxiety, loss of meaning, difficulties in relationships, or a significant life transition, you may benefit from the kind of therapy I provide.
If you are looking for an experienced and compassionate clinician, I invite you to call me to discuss your situation.
